I was one of those teachers (for more than 20 years) who thought she was going to change the world; or at least change education- for the better.

My mission was to make kids think.

Sounds easy; right? Wrong. I found out the hard way that I was an outsider, a non-conformist educator, and a troublemaker. In reality, I was a change- maker. If you know anything about government systems, you know they resist change (unless it’s implemented by those in charge, of course).

My mission was (and is in a new way) to make PEOPLE think.

I’ve discovered the key to myself and my children in giftedness and have become a gifted advocate who is helping others to find their missing piece. Giftedness is more than a score on a test. It’s an intrinsic difference that answers so many questions- maybe even yours.
